Return and Refund Policy

1. Overview
Nearparts Ltd. (“Nearparts”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) wants you to be satisfied with every purchase. This policy explains how to return products and request refunds for orders placed at https://nearautosparts.com (the “Site”).


2. Return Eligibility

  • You may return unused products within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be in original condition, with all labels, packaging, manuals and accessories.

  • Returns require a valid proof of purchase (order number, invoice or packing slip).

  • Custom-built or modified parts are not returnable unless defective upon delivery.


3. Start a Return

  2. Receive RMA

    • We’ll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) within 2 business days.

    • Returns shipped without an RMA will be refused.

  3. Prepare Your Package

    • Re-pack the item in its original box or equivalent sturdy packaging.

    • Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of the box.


4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Buyer-Paid Returns: Unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent) or a defect covered by warranty, you are responsible for all return shipping charges.

  • Defective/Wrong Item: We cover outbound and return shipping. Use the prepaid label we provide.


5. Inspection & Refund Processing

  • Inspection: Once we receive your return, we inspect the item within 5 business days.

  • Approval Notification: We notify you by email within 2 business days of inspection.

  • Refund Issuance: If approved, we refund the purchase price (minus any shipping or restocking fees) to your original payment method within 7 business days.

  • Restocking Fee: A 10 % restocking fee may apply for non-defective returns.


6. Exchanges

  • If you need a different model or variant, request an exchange in your initial return email.

  • Exchange Shipping: You pay to ship the original item back, plus any shipping for the replacement.

  • Price Differences: Additional charges or refunds for price differences are processed at the time of shipment.


7. Refund Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

  • Products returned after 14 days are subject to inspection and may incur a restocking fee of up to 20 %.

  • Non-returnable: Installed parts, clearance items, kits or bundles once opened, and any product marked “Final Sale.”


8. Warranty Returns

  • For defects covered under our 12-month limited warranty, follow the same RMA process.

  • Warranty claims require detailed photos and proof of installation by a qualified technician.

  • If a defect is confirmed, we repair or replace the item at no charge and cover return shipping.


9. Refund Method

  • We refund to the original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.).

  • If the original method is unavailable, we issue a store credit valid for 12 months.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect upon posting. For significant changes, we’ll notify you by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
